4 REASONS WE ARE WORTHY OF YOUR DONATION

 

1) We are RESULTS DRIVEN- We do more than meet temporary physical needs.  Because we are a Christian organization, we break the cycle of addiction and homelessness.  We don't give hand-outs, we give hand-ups.

 

 2) We are GOOD STEWARDS. 50% of our work is done by wonderful volunteers from dozens of area churches.  We are able to do a tremendous amount of ministry with just a few staff members.  Indeed, we do more for less.

 

 3) We have a RICH HISTORY- Rescue Missions have been serving the poor in America since 1872.  Most of the 10 Rescue Missions in Pennsylvania have been established for over 75 years.

 

 4) We believe in ACCOUNTABILITY- We mail out newsletters three times per year informing our donors of how they are making a difference and we always highlight some of the lives that are being transformed.  Furthermore, our donors are welcome to tour our facility and stay for one of our services/meals.  Our yearly Celebration Banquet in December is another way we communicate with and provide accountability to our donors.  Our gifted and committed Board of Directors insures the financial integrity of the organization.
